Even after the D.J. Moore trade, the Bills may still want to add to their receiver room in the draft. Bell could be that guy at pick 91.
Acolades:
- 2025 Concensus All-American
NFL Comp: Popular but it’s true, Jayden Reed
Pros:
- Play speed matches combine, frequently stacking corners
- Offers a ton a versitility at receiver, can play both inside and outside and find success
- YAC monster, 8.2 yards of YAC per reception in 2025, ranks 2nd in FBS amongst receivers with a minimum of 80 targets.
- Willing blocker despite smaller frame
- Not afraid to go over the middle and take a hit
- Playmaker, he’s a big play waiting to happen
Cons:
- Hands need to be more consistent, saw improvement in 2025, but needs to prove it’s here to stay
- Gets bumped off routes easily when bothered in between the numbers
- Lack of great hands and small frame makes for a small catch radius, shown during contested catch situations
- Turns 24 in July
Fit with the Bills:
I really like Bell. He consistently wins routes, even if the ball wasn’t throw his way. He also missed out on a few touchdowns and a few hundred yards due to inconsistent quarterback play at UConn, that won’t be the case in Buffalo. His role at the next level will determine on what style of offense he’s drafted into, but in Buffalo, I think he could succeed in a number of ways. With the ability to play both inside and out wide, new head coach Joe Brady could interchange guys like Bell, Moore, Khalil Shakir, and Keon Coleman, moving them all around the field. His age is worth noting, as he’s a year older than Keon Coleman. With that said, Bell may be my top prospect when it comes to pick 91. The size is concerning, but we’ve seen guys, even in Buffalo, succeed with a smaller frame. Him and Stefon Diggs have nearly the same height, weight, hand size and arm length, with Bell being a better athelte in my eyes. I could definetly see Bell rise on the draft board, but if he’s there at 91 I think it’s a home run pick.
